I was looking for a workbook to go with my son's homeschooling. This was very simple for him to understand and he really enjoyed it. Has fun activities and great information in it! Very age appreciate in my opinion. We just started some of these workbooks for my 5 year old son. I would say they are fine for the age children they are for. You can’t start out assuming kids have a base of knowledge which most of the reviewers do. It is simple but it’s for young children. It is black and But would be nice if there was information on each page. One page per day and it usually amounts to a couple sentences, a picture, and two questions.
